Prairie Awakening Celebration, Legacy Artist and Writers Collaboration, and ISU's Green Dot Program

 

Nature Reporter Pat Schlarbaum brought us Chris Atkins, Environmental Education Naturalist, talking about the Prairie Awakening Celebration, at Kuehn Conservation Area, Sunday, September 10, 2017, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m .

Our next guest was Maureen Seamonds, the organizer and visionary of the workshop "Legacy Artists and Writers Collaboration Quilting Workshop," that will happen on September 18 and 19, 2017, at Briggs Woods, near Webster City. The event combines the talents of Jen Berte, writer, and Carmon Slater, quilter.

Lori Allen, from ISU student services working with Ames Assault Care Center (ACCESS) launching the ISU Green Dot Program, on Wednesday,September 27,2017 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, on Parks Library Lawn.
