The First Nation-Farmer Climate Unity March, The Goldfinch is Nesting, Public Events & Entertainment for September

KHOI environmental reporter informs you about the state bird, the goldfinch, which is currently nesting.
 
Keith Puntenney, a Boone resident and landowner/manager of 600 acres of farm land in Boone and Webster Counties, describes the lawsuit he, numerous other landowners, and the Iowa Sierra Club have brought before the Iowa Supreme Court. Hearings begin September 12th. A group of Iowans are marching 95 miles from DesMoines to Marshalltown as the First Nation - Farmer Climate Unity March beginning September 1 - September 8. Actions are being taken globally on September 8 as part of "Rise for Climate" day on the 8th.
