Road Trip to Recovery, Releafing

As new businesses start and construction continues even during ongoing cases of COVID 19 and in the aftermath of  the derecho.  KHOI takes you on a road trip around our area starting with Henry Corbin, director of Mainstreet Nevada who led us on a tour of Mainstreet Nevada on the newly paved 6th Street. Next stop was Story City, where Jackson Kimle, founder of Midland Seafood,  told us about the process for raising fresh shrimp in the former outlet mall.  On a sadder note we visited Mark Schneider, director of the Iowa Arboretum, telling us how the supporters of the Arboretum have cleaned up after the Derecho and are preparing for a brighter future for the beloved institution [Be sure to check out the video of the work done so far].  Finally Deb Franzenburg described the new Parish Hall being built adjacent to the 130 year old Sacred Heart Catholic Church in .
