Dr Molly Lee reports for the Story County Board of Health with an update on the COVID-19 pandemic in our area, including the current Status Story County mask mandate, Vaccine status/distribution efforts, and which groups are to receive their first inoculation, as well as the efficacy of immune system after first and second doses. Ms. Lee is Associate Director of the Center for Food Security & Public Health at the Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

Pat Schlarbaum, KHOI environmental reporter, explains Ground Hog Day and the ground hog.
 
Erica Place, Outreach Coordinator with Story County Conservation  briefly reviews some of the upcoming events in the County Conservation System and how Naturalists are interacting with the public with school classes.  She tells us how to apply for the annual photograph contest.
 
Susan GwiasdaAmes Public Relations Officer and Craig Kaufman, City Auditorium report from the City of Ames. Gwiasda reviews upcoming meetings including departs' budget meetings and what volunteers are needed for board positions. Kaufman reviewed past performances, feed back received, and futute performances.
