Abby Huff, new director of the Story City Greater Chamber Connection, gave us a preview of what will be coming up in the next months as well as telling about the Main Street Program and its significance for historic preservation and promoting small towns. Todd Thorson, owner of the Story City Grand Opera House told us about the conversion to digital projection just completed.
The last part of our program was a road trip to visit Roland native and internationally-known Country music singer/songwriter DeLon Thompson in his home in Tucson, Arizona, to hear in song and story how he started his music career at age 54 in the 1990s.
