6 cups total ground peppers
Use a combination of sweet and hot peppers
{Lonna suggests using 5 cups sweet peppers to 1 cup hot peppers.}
Best to grind peppers while FROZEN. Pulse in food processor - regular blade. - 1 small lime - seeded. Grind up the whole thing.
- 3 cups sugar
- 1-1/2 cup dark apple cider vinegar
Add all ingredients in a heavy bottom pan. Cook until thick. Bring to boil and then simmer about 2 hours. Stir often. Pour into small jars. Keep in refrigerator or hot pack. Serve with cream cheese and crackers.
