Dr. Shanise Walker: First African American Student to Receive PhD in Mathematics from ISU

Dr. Shanise Walker recently became the first African American student to receive a PhD in Mathematics from Iowa Student University. Dr. Walker spoke with Gale Seiler on Local Talk about it. She completed her doctorate in the spring of 2018 and is now an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
