Special Olympics athlete Sara Cummings and Iowa Summer Games co-chair Jan Williams share the first half of the show, with descriptions of Special Olympics events to be held this Thursday through Saturday, May 22-24, all of which are open to the public. Cynthia McClure talks to Ames-based neurologist Dr. David Moore about the complications surrounding the passage of a law by the Iowa Legislature enabling use of cannabis oil for refractory epilepsy patients.

Then, Greta Anderson interviews Ames musician Paul Doffing about the Ames Bicycle Coalition, which he helped found, and the Bike-to-Work Week events it has lined up this week, including the kickoff to Paul's "Freedom from Fuel" tour this Friday, May 16, at DG's Tap House. Paul plays two lovely songs and laughs at our jokes.
