County Reporters Cheryl Binzen and Susan Franzen took a road trip to Webster City, where they ate lunch at the 2nd Street Emporium and interviewed Cami Felts about the history of the restaurant before meeting with Deb Brown, Keri Rojas, Loween Getter, and Joann Robb at the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce to discuss the attractions and history of Webster City.
The meeting was followed by tours of the Webster Theater, the Jane Young House, and the Kendall Young Library. On the way home they stopped by Story City to hear about Lake Comar from Kay Munson, who recalled its allure in the 1920s and 30s.
