Co-hosts Jazmin Murguia and Gale Seiler covered the current production of The Vagina Monologues at ISU.
They interviewed Carolyn Duven, one of the directors, and Olivia Gard, an actor in the play, who spoke about what the play means to them personally and the V-Day movement to raise awareness about violence against women.
Correspondent Jim Werbel spoke with Dan Braebeck, a local florist, about consumer demand for flowers for Valentine’s Day. We also heard from Brianna Burke, an instructor at ISU, about the environmental and human costs of Valentine’s Day flowers and chocolates that people buy.
