Musicals, Ice Skating, and Termespheres

Co-hosts Greta Anderson and Ursula Ruedenberg discuss two musicals premiering in Ames this January with their creators. Clark Ford describes the last of his six musicals covering the same family, 2016 The Musical: One Family , while composer Robbie Kroeschell and dramaturg / lyricist Ben Sulzberger, seniors at Ames High School, introduce their full-stage musical A Slice of Reggie, which opens this weekend (January 8-10) at 615 South Dayton, Suite 129, Ames. We then speak with ice skating coach Darlene Lewis about the Ames Figure Skating Club and the craft of ice-skating. Finally, we preview a "termesphere" exhibit, at the Octagon Art Center's 1st floor community gallery, in conversations with Naomi Friend and Heather Johnson.
