Three chefs from Food at First in Ames, a free food service known for exceptional cooking and community spirit. Three of the star chefs, Dale Vanderschcaff, Kritine Lang, and Patty Yoder describe their own signature dishes when cooking for free meal program and try to explain the "Food At First Magic." Yoder is also Executive Director of the program, which also includes an open pantry. Food at First is located at 611 Clark Ave in the First Christian Church. They serve free dinners to anyone who comes, 364 days a year.
