Story County Commissioner Linda Murken started our show with the Story County Report. The balance of the program was a wrap up of Pride Month with an archived show from 2013 which interviewed three families who dealt with with Gender issues and family in a profound way. One couple were Kevin and Rosalie Zimmerman (he is also a family therapist as well as being a gay man) and another is the couple of Ames Restauranteers, Mark Kassis and Terri Lowman, who have been in a committed relationship for over thirty years and have been married as soon as same-sex marriage was legal in Iowa.
