Aja Lyons  is the ISU English Department’s Student Steward caring for the Everett Casey natural habitiat property.  Aja shares he experiences and efforts to inprove and restore this bit of Iowa’s natural habitat.

Paul Reedhead  associated with the Friends of Pohl Prairie (Ames High Prairie) shares the history, the care involved in the maintenance of as well as this season’s evening walk schedule and contact info. 

Susan Gwiasda Public Information Officer for the City of Ames reviews the Thursday Bandshell Park activities and provides an update on the construction of the pedestrian bridge spanning University Ave and some scheduled temporary closings related to its construction.   Ames Electric Services Director Donald Kom makes an encore appear Two Tuesdays in a row to preview the weather week ahead and its potential impact on the electric system to avoid a record energy demand peak.  And we also review some conservation tips.
