This was a week-long writing workshop funded by a Rotary Club of Ames Community Grant that we held in partnership with the Ames Public Library and other projects as part of this coming weekend celebration. Saturday keynote conversation for  Music in Conversation Between Friends; John T Price and Tom Montgomery-Bates and then following this at C.Y. Stephens in the Goldfinch Room,  Deb Marquart and the “Bone People” will close the event .
Brad Dell, Chair of the Iowa State University Department of Music and Theatre, discussing the inaugural of KHOI program; ISU Music and Theater Radio Hour.  Brad will be producing which starts this Thursday at noon (Carole Horowitz's spot).  Program name or title, subject matter, what peaked your interest to do this? 
Susan Gwiasda Public Information Officer for the City of Ames reminds listeners about the EcoFair this weekend  west of the City Hall and reviews the upcoming council meeting. then shares some remembrances working with Duane Pitcher.    Retiring Finance Director Duane Pitcher will be leaving municipal employment on Friday, Sept. 30. Duane will reflect on his 30 years of being a Finance Director in two cities. Also, his public reception is from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday at City Hall.
Rick Steward; Libertarian Candidate for Governor of Iowa.  Shares his background, reasons he is running for this office and reviews some of his core values and the areas he feels are important and will work on if he is elected.
