The Poison Control Center (Record release show!) - The PCC has been at the forefront of Iowa rock for the past decade, influencing countless Iowa bands with their ecstatic style and energetic live shows. For this special concert, they will be releasing a vinyl record of a previously unreleased rock opera they recorded in 1999, in their first year as a band. This will be a show for the ages.
Christopher the Conquered - A soul band with a charismatic, piano-tickling frontman and a big, brassy horn section.
Kate Kennedy - A standard-bearer of Ames folk music, known for her mastery of finger-style guitar picking and trenchant lyricism.
Tickets are $5 each and the proceeds go toward building KHOI Community Radio.
