1 cup sugar
1 cup suet chopped fine
1 cup milk
2 egg yolks
1 cup each raisins, current and dried plums
1/2 cup molasses
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon clove
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon soda salt
3 cups flour
Mix all the ingredients and put in greased bundt pan.
Cover the bundt pan with foil.
Put bundt pan inside a deep soup pot with a small rack on the bottom so that the water circulates all around.
Fill the soup pot with water half way up the sides of the bundt pan and cover with lid.
Turn stove burner on low. Steam the plum pudding on top of the stove until pudding is set…about 3 hours.
Turn out on plate
Serve with a hard sauce made of Cognac or rum, cream, lemon juice, butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract and cornstarch
