Betsy Mayfield
November 19, 2011
Betsy Mayfield is a cat with many lives. She taught seventh, eighth and ninth graders across the US from New Jersey to California moving around for about 7 years. She also embarked upon a theatrical and industrial film career, performing nationally and with a special troupe from the Dorothy Chandler pavilion (where she sang and sang and sang). She has worked professionally as a photographer, marketing spokesperson and fundraiser. Studying filmmaking at NYU, she continues as a filmmaker for films to aid fundraising or social issue awareness. She is currently participating in development of KHOI-FM. Betsy’d say she is a cat with a charmed life and assures all that she is ever grateful for it.
This is her story . . . .
