Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation:  Pat Schlarbaum visits with Joe Jayjack about the mission of the Foundation, its roll in helping to preserve Iowa’s natural areas and reviews some upcoming events that they are sponsoring.
 
 
Susan Gwiasda, Public Information Officer for the City of Ames;  Reminds listeners about some upcoming events, including a ribbon cutting 21st of September for the boat launch dock at Ada Hayden Heritage Park and ther revived Eco Fair being held west of city hall on the 1st of October. Cory  Mellies, Fleet & Facilities Director; shares updates on the new Downtown Plaza points out that demolition work begins today (Sept. 6) at the municipal parking lot just east of City Hall  and reviews future activities and ammenities that will be available for this new venue?
