The ISU Indian Students' Association presents its annual Diwali Night, which it bills as a "night of light, dance and music." Its first stage, a performance, occurs in the Memorial Union's Great Hall, on the campus of Iowa State University. Its second stage, a dinner at the Collegiate Methodist Church on 2622 Lincoln Way, follows the performance.

Members of the public can attend a forum to air their opinions and questions about the proposed replacement of a local bridge. The bridge under discussion diverges from 6th Street, leading into Brookside Park in Ames. The forum will be held in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, which can be found at 515 Clark Street.
