Spirits in the Gardens at Rieman Gardens
Parents are invited to bring their children to Rieman Gardens (located south of Jack Trice Stadium in Ames) to get candy, make crafts and view the wildlife that inhabits the gardens. Sculptures made from LEGOs are on display.

Co'Motion Dance Theater Concert (Encore)
Members of the Co'Motion troupe dance to original music by Ben Alloway. They do so in the Ames City Auditorium, which is on 6th Street between Clark and Grand Avenues. Their performance is billed as "Z-Axis."

National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba in Concert
Ignacio Herrera, a renowned pianist, plays during this concert, which is part of the Cuban national orchestra's first international tour. Herrera will play with the orchestra as it performs George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue."

Qawal Najmuddin Saifuddin & Brothers in Concert
A Pakistani ensemble will perform qawwali songs, which are traditionally arranged as choral pieces. The performance is in the Martha Ellen-Tye Recital Hall, which is in Music Hall on the campus of Iowa State University.
