Young People: Building a Fort; Breaking Down Stereotypes

Stories about and by young people in Central Iowa were the focus of this show with co-hosts Gale Seiler and Max Eness. Max and Thea Brenner produced a story about a group of 8th graders who built a fort in Munn Woods in Ames and their efforts to keep it there despite orders from Ames Parks & Recreation to take it down. Members of Al Éxito, an organization that supports Latino young people in Iowa, were in the studio.
