KHOI has recently added a weekly show by Dr. Arnie Arnesen to its program schedule, starting on Monday June 10. Dr. Arnesen is a radio and TV talk show host and political analyst/former Congressional and gubernatorial candidate.
Get ready for a day of fun, fundraising and community fellowship. KHOI is planning their second live, on-air pledge drive for Friday, June 28. The pledge drive will begin at 7 am with hosts Don Wirth and Ursula Ruedenberg kicking off the day-long campaign. Each successive hour will be hosted by KHOI on-air personalities, volunteers and guests. KHOI wants your old vehicles! Car, tractor, atv, recreational vehicle - if it's got an engine, running or not - donate it to KHOI and receive a tax deduction along with the continuation and further development of programs you want to hear on 89.1 FM.

Dick Brooks has over 35 years of experience in public and commercial radio. He has worked asa reporter, producer and manager for print media and public radio. Brooks has numerous national and international broadcast awards and fellowships and served as a consultant to the Corporationfor Public Broadcasting. He is very active in providing station-based training for community radio broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada.

Nearing the Goal
The inaugural pledge drive took place on Friday, February 15. Spurred on by an anonymous $25,000 donation received earlier in the week, volunteers took to the airwaves and raised an additional $3,000 during the daylong pledge drive.
